Evolve Politics is a genuinely independent grassroots news outlet, meaning that – unlike the UK’s mainstream media – we have no wealthy financial backers directing our output and no political ties restricting what we can and cannot publish.

However, whilst this setup ensures we maintain total journalistic freedom, it also restricts us financially – meaning we rely on the generosity of our readers to help us keep the lights on and continue publishing our work.

As things stand, Evolve currently has barely enough funds to scrape by, and nowhere near enough to allow us to take on extra staff and expand our operation (as we would love to do).
